Me - I should have stayed for tea and travelled back later - train to Manchester worked OK and then what luck - a direct train to Glasgow but after Preston Rab C Nesbit and extended family came in to shatter the peace - 6 adults(?) 3 unruly kids. Kids throwing food & toys around and pummelling each other women bawling at the kids to behave - which seemed to have the effect of goading them to worse behaviour and men steadily working through the beer supply. and then they started the community singing.
I've asked the train company MD to take a look at the CCTV - the conductor checked the tickets and never came back!
After Hillsborough Park I wanted a slighty higher pace than Kevin & Brigitte so I paced the cars down into the city centre and met with Simon and Chris (also Bromptonistas) Chris was involved with a Yorkshire-built battery scooter and a few other linked projects, and suggested an interesting way to get cycling specified as a therapy treatment.
