WoW, W4W !!!! how many Ws can I use? without resorting to lowering the tone :) Wheels 4 Wellbeing, are wanting cyclists with disabilities to go and be 'counted' at the cycling exhibition in London and help out folk who may want to cycle but are needing a different type of cycle, and exploring the possibilities for them.
Hey Kev, how about we fix up a cycle ride with our local MPs? :Dx
I'm working with the SDS team tomorrow, which I always enjoy.
I don't know about a different type of cycle, I'm needing a different type of Police - a type that gets off their bottoms and gets out there reigning in errant motorists...!
ReplyDeleteAround here they seem to be a complete waste of space and won't lift a finger.
As a constituent you can write to your MP and say that you will be in London to promote this wonderful opportunity for many disabled people to widen their horizons for independence and personal mobility, and at the same time make a massive reduction in the cost for delivering this, with an added gain that many of those who would otherwise require additional physiotherapy to compensate for their sedentary routine wirh electric scooters and assisted transport, can gain health wise.
ReplyDeletePS when do we get the next report on the ankles??
Doa!!!!?
ReplyDeleteLike a total ass, I 4got to collect the prescribed bandages from the chemist, in preperation of the nurses visit yesterday. So I removed them, and yuk, not good, my wound looked worst, my ankles, whilst better than they had started off at, had had nearly a day of supporting my big body. When Kim arrived, she was a bit peed off that I aint got the bandages, I phoned the chemist and niether bandages or sexy stockings had arrived anyway! Soooooo watch this space....
Maybe that's the next thing to work on - a body to match the ankles! A balance to everything I guess
ReplyDeleteThen I'll also stop biting my tongue when I see that dreadful text-speak lexicon 4-this and 8-that. The rules of the write are dots, commas and crossings in the right places, capitation where it should be and proper sentences. Otherwise you might find that I reject it as unreadable (sic).
