My Dads wooden bench on the far left. Where I took a moment to think about what my dear Dad would think about me. Being a bit of a trail blazer?
I'm happy to say, that Steve (CTC) is joining me at an event I'm attending on Thursday, for Brain Injury Awareness week. So I should be on a high and feel quite powerful. But I aint!!
If I'd known that was your intended destination on Sunday I'd have given you a bigger hug to get you underway with Mr P.
ReplyDeleteNot everyone has such a tangible mark of their family in a public place. Makes you think how you'd like to leave a mark on the world - I think I'd want to sponsor public clocks like we used to have when watches were expensive, and everyone needed to know the time to make sure they didn't miss their buses and trains.
Cheap watches and the way that having cars makes you lazy over timekeeping..... don't get me started
Thanks Dave, I didn't know where we were going either, until we stumbled on it. Because I've only visited it once before. As I couldn't reach it by foot. But I can go now!!
ReplyDeleteI'm, thinking clever Mr Potts and what a wonderful day that turned out to be - meeting up with Helen as well - now that certainly wasn't planned. Kismet!!
