Well I've just completed the three most regular local trips I do. Which are the school run, at least once a day, the coop, and the bus stop. And T. Rise. Which means I can be self sufficient and rely no more on my scooter. But I am still a bit reticent to get rid of it just yet, until I have my own.

Just to be doubly sure this am, that I hadn't dreamt yesterday, I cycled to school again this morning. I am still numb with shock, I and a lot of other folk have put so much effort into me doing this. I had to stop everyone I saw on my travels, and explain myself :D I am so relieved I can do it. I CAN DO IT!!!

I hardly dare write this, because I'm so stunned that I have at last achieved my goal. I can cycle to school and back. I am shaking in disbelief. But I've got to say it was soooo difficult. I am just too heavy (14st) for one strong leg to cope with. I sweated so much, I felt very unattractive!! and I'm glad the streets were empty so no one witnessed just how difficult it was for me. So how do I feel? Strangely smug :)

Two of my mates went on Gretal today, which was cool. And the ignorant folk who were laughing last night just stared, maybe a little jealous because of all the children that wanted to have a go.

I had a really upsetting experience, when I took my trike, Gretal, out for her virgin ride yesterday.

I left the house to the squeals of laughter from a few unfortunate neighbours, who are so uneducated in their outlook on life and are 'reactionary' about everything.
